Coagulation Products

Axis-Shield PoC has a range of well documented PT-INR tests for use in the control of anticoagulation therapy. In addition an APTT-test is available for screening of the intrinsic coagulation system and facilitating the control of heparin therapy.

The tests can be used in a Point of Care setting on Thrombotrack instruments or adapted to large coagulation analysers for clinical laboratories.

Thrombotrack Coagulometers

The Thrombotrack instruments are small, easy to use coagulometers that are well suited to the GP practice and hospital clinic.
Coagulation is detected by a change in viscosity, which occurs upon clot formation.

• Simultaneous measurement of two samples
• Automatic start when sample or reagent is added with the start-pipette
• Input of calibration and reagent specific data
• Calculation of the coagulation activity and INR value
• Notification of critical events
• Serial interface (RS 232) for the connection of a printer or host computer

Thrombotrack Solo

• Single channel, processor driven coagulometer
• Both whole blood and plasma can be used as sample material
• No interference from turbid plasma
• Software system controls the reaction procedure
• INR value is automatically calculated from a user-defined MNPT and ISI value

Thrombotrack are the instruments of choice for measurement of INR using Thrombotest reagent or other coagulation clotting tests.
