New warehouse consolidates Axis-Shield UK operations

On 4th January 2005, Axis-Shield UK opened a brand new warehouse facility at its HQ in Kimbolton, Cambridgeshire. All orders placed with Axis-Shield UK will now be processed and distributed from the 1,250 sq ft warehouse, which also houses a 440 sq ft coldroom. Axis-Shield’s UK team moved to new premises in October 2004 and relocation of the warehouse provides the final step in consolidating the company’s operations on one site. Mike Younghusband, managing director, said: “The recent move has proven to be an exciting time for Axis-Shield UK and has afforded us the opportunity to bring our team together offering customers a more efficient service as a result.”

The relocated warehouse is being managed by new logistics co-ordinator, Sean Ward, who joined Axis-Shield in December 2004.
